We're on TV!
Latvian Public Television's program RE! recently aired a 25-minute episode on the making of "My Love Affair With Marriage" - or rather
which means "My Marriage Project" in Latvian ("My Love Affair With Marriage" just doesn't translate!). It features the all the different work that passes back and forth between the Brooklyn Studio (animation, sets, photography & more) and Studio Locomotive in Riga, Latvia (coloring, compositing & more).
And the program is all in Latvian. If you've never heard the melodic tones of the Latvian language, now's your chance. You can learn a lot about our animation process, too, even if you don't understand the specific words everyone is saying.

Most of the world will hear our English-speaking cast, but Latvians get to experience the film with their own talented actors.

The popular Latvian group Trio Limonāde are the Mythology Sirens in both languages. They sing a cappella on the program, too.

In other news we successfully met our Matching Grant! Thank you!!! The Anonymous Foundation that set up the grant was so impressed with the response - 211 backers - that they are matching all the contributions that went above their $15,000 ceiling.
